Our rural countryside is quickly disappearing .... and now things can get even worse!
A developer proposed amendment to our Comprehensive Plan (2050) is asking for considerable increases in density for a new Village/Hamlet development between Fruitville and University, 3900 acres.
Goodbye countryside and hello more traffic, more stormwater runoff, more pollution of our waterways, and environmental destruction of wildlife habitat and trees.
We, your neighbors, need your help. This amendment is a game changer that proposes to erase huge chunks of countryside forever. Our beautiful open spaces bulldozed for a sea of track housing.
Please attend the April 7, 6 pm virtual Neighborhood workshop to help us show our unity in opposing this land use change. We need lots of concerned neighbors to sign up for show our collective opposition. In the meeting you can ask questions, or you can just listen and learn about this proposal to increase housing development here. This is the first step in the process to opposing more development of our rural countryside. Don't miss this very important meeting.
The Microsoft Virtual Teams Neighborhood Workshop meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 7 at 6 pm. Sign in and you will be directed to the meeting at that time. (You may have to download the meeting app)
